There was a kid named Charles. He grew up on a farm in West Texas. He would always read comic books. He always wanted to be a superhero. So one day, he got out his paper and pencils and got to work. At the end of the day, he was finished. He was Watermelon Boy. He wrote about 20 copies and put them in a box under his bed to bring to the comic book stores the next morning. When it was 6:00 am, he got out of bed and brushed his teeth and got dressed. He went to grab the box, but it was not there. He felt so sad inside.

*40 years later.*

He was about 45 years old now. He just moved out of his parents house and into a new apartment. While he was unpacking, he saw a box. He opened the box and it had all these comic books about Watermelon Boy. He was shocked! After all these years, he turned the box around and it said “Yearbooks.” Then he realized that he saw that box and just thought yearbooks were in there. The next morning, he woke up and went to the grocery store and bought watermelons. He turned himself into Watermelon Man.

Cora is a Level 1 student and who likes SpongeBob.
